Sonoran Jojoba Oil
A single miracle ingredient for body and hair – pure, organic jojoba oil from a family run farm in the Sonoran Desert. We chose jojoba as one of the staples of our beauty regiment because of its long history and versatility. Native Americans in the American Southwest have been using jojoba for hundreds of years to treat skin conditions, sores, wounds, sun, and windburn, and as a hair and scalp treatment. One of two oils that are the most structurally similar to the skins natural oil – the other being whale oil – the use of the more humane and renewable jojoba became more prevalent after the government banned the use of sperm whale oil in 1974. A fantastically effective oil that can be used for hair, face, and body, jojoba is naturally astringent, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, non-toxic, and non-comedogenic.
Blue Earth Scrub
A simple and effective powder cleanser made in collaboration with a collective of Navajo farmers, herb gatherers, medicine men and women. A combination of ground ancestral blue corn, fine white clay, and antioxidant rich, anti-inflammatory sunflowers, mix this gentle pale lavender scrub with a small amount of water, prickly pear, or jojoba oil to make a smoothing and restorative exfoliating facial cleanser.
