Tiny hand cast sterling silver cross legged imp. Lively minions of the devil, imps are thought to be mischievous pranksters rather than supernaturally threatening or dangerous. A tiny talisman for the merrymaker that knows no boundaries. This piece is cast from a reproduction of the Lincoln Imp, a grotesque from a wall of the Lincoln Cathedral, built between 1185 and 1311 in Lincoln, England.
